8women ~ Sacred Women’s Circle

Women have always gathered in circles, it is an ancient practice, and comes in many forms, from the office tea room, to retreats into wild places together, there are so many variations.

Sacred Women’s Circles are a profoundly supportive, nourishing and transformational practice.

Their existence promotes healthy families, communities and organisations.

What people most need to hear is what is in their hearts.
The Sacred Women’s circle is an oasis where our hearts can open and be heard and felt. This voice is the most honest authority of who we are.

In these current times we urgently need one another. We need to be heard, to listen and to share. We need to be held, and to hold one another. And we need to do this in a safe setting, facilitated by a woman converse in the art of holding Women’s Circles.

I am passionate about Women’s Circles because I know from my own experience and now the priveledge of holding space for Women’s Circle that they change people’s lives.

When women gather, the Divine feminine Spirit is amplified and each woman is recharged, empowered and reinforced by the elixir of this.

Women generally easily share their personal problems, but the idea of the Sacred Women’s Circle is that it is not about the small stories of our personalities, it is about the large universal ‘field’ to which we all belong. Here we find a larger sense of ourselves, where soul-full experience and evolution can take place, instead of what often happens in a gossipy or co-dependent hierarchical group which a lot of us belong to by default within families, communities, schools and workplaces.

The Essential and vital Structure of the Circle

One of the reasons why we have some strong agreements and structures in place, which are important masculine components, is because they serve as the container, which gives us safety, and refuge within which we can be fluid and changeable.

Confidentiality is also absolutely essential. Whatever gets revealed or discussed within the Circle must stay within the Circle, and has to be one hundred percent confidential.

It is within this kind of safety that trust grows.

Women’s circles are for the purpose of empowering one another, they are a place where we can hold each other deeply, share from the depth of our hearts, and bring healing and revelation to everyone, which in turn informs all our friendships, families and communities.

The commitment of an ongoing Women’s Circle

I have found that, ongoing, regular Women’s Circle has the most powerfully transformational outcomes.

This is because of the level of trust which evolves naturally from meeting the same group of women in the safety that is the container of a Sacred Circle.

One of the rules of the Circle is the commitment to attend each meeting unless it is absolutely impossible.

You are given twelve months of dates to put in your diary so that you can make the Circle a priority in your life for yourself, and your Circle companions.

Generally you’ll know within about two or three gatherings whether the Circle is for you or not.

Times and Costs

Sacred Women’s Circle is held online for two-and-a-half hours once a month for eleven months of the year.

To assist you in the concept that this is an ongoing process, I have structured the payments for each session in the form of a subscription, payable on the day of each gathering.
